Arthritis Aquatic Program

The Arthritis Aquatic Program is a group exercise program that includes specific exercises endorsed by the arthritis foundation that may help participants have more energy and improved function as well as look and feel better.

Any adult with any type of arthritis is eligible for the program provided that consent is given by his or her physician. Participants must be able to walk independently or with an assistive device.

Classes take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with two class times available:
8:30-9:30 a.m. or 9:45-10:45 a.m.

The cost of the program is $50 for 18 visits, which is not covered by insurance.

Land-based Arthritis Program

The Land-based Arthritis Program is a group recreational program designed specifically for people with arthritis that focuses on joint protection while keeping the body moving. This class follows the National Arthritis Foundation guidelines. Any adult with arthritis is eligible for this program with the consent of a physician. Injury Prevention Program for Student Athletes

Our physical therapists welcomes the opportunity to speak with local sports teams about ways to prevent injuries in their chosen sports. Topics in the past have included ‘Knee Injury Prevention in Soccer Players’, ‘Injury Prevention Tips for Cross Country Runners’ and ‘Shoulder Injury Prevention for Swimmers’. Injury Prevention Tips for Industries

Our therapists welcome the opportunity to teach employers and employees how to make the workplace as safe as possible. Topics often include proper lifting techniques, ways to maintain a healthy back, warming up for work, and suggestions for proper selection and usage of hand tools. Student Mentoring and Job Shadowing Opportunities

Our therapists welcome the opportunity to talk with individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in physical, occupation, or speech therapy.
